Experiences and Classes
The Pull: Working with Oracle and Tarot Cards
Social, low-key, and extremely useful, The Pull is a night designed for exploration of a simple self-help tool that we’re known for using here at Creative Spirit: Oracle and Tarot cards.
Pull up a chair, pick a deck from the ones we have here or bring your own, and join a group of amazing people as we practice working with different methods and techniques for reading cards for yourself and others. Working with spreads, reading by the book, reading by intuition alone, it’s all going to be explored and demonstrated so that everyone walks away with practical, easy, and usable techniques that they can implement right away.
Each month we take some time to focus on a specific topic within the Card Reading world.
Cost: $25 (Included in all Class Passes)
JUNE: Spreads
Most people know the three-card spread. Past, present, future. Maybe a few others if they've been at this a while. What most people don't know is that the spread you choose shapes the entire conversation you're having with the cards before you've even turned one over. A bad spread for a question is like asking someone to answer a yes-or-no question in an essay format. You get information, but not the information you needed.
This month we work with spreads specifically. What they are, how they work, and how to choose the right one for what you're actually trying to understand. We'll work with several in class so you leave with more than just the concept, you leave with structures you can use the next time you sit down with your deck at home and aren't sure where to start.
JULY: Creating Powerful Questions
The quality of a reading is almost entirely determined by the quality of the question you bring to it. "Will things get better?" is going to get you a shrug from the most gifted deck in the world. Learning to frame a question that actually opens something rather than closes it is a skill, and most people who work with cards have never been taught it.
This month we work on that. How to take what you're actually carrying into the room and turn it into a question the cards can do something with. We practice in class with real questions, the ones you actually have, and we keep refining them until they start to open rather than narrow. You'll leave with a completely different relationship to the front end of a reading.
AUGUST: Timing in a Reading
Timing is the question people bring to cards most often and the skill that gets taught least. When is this going to move? How long do I wait? Is it coming? The honest answer is that timing in a reading is not an exact science, and anyone who tells you otherwise is either very gifted or not being straight with you. What it is, is a readable quality. There are ways of sensing whether something is immediate, approaching, or still a season away, and that information, even when it's approximate, changes how you hold a situation.
This month we work on developing that sense. How to read timing through the cards themselves, through the energy of a spread, and through your own body's response to what comes up. You'll leave with an actual method rather than a guess, which is the best anyone can honestly promise you where timing is concerned.
I do recommend bringing a notebook so that you can jot down ideas, questions, or insights that you connect with. This class is meant to be FUN so, above all, bring your sense of humor!

Personal Prayer Flags
PERSONAL PRAYER FLAGS
In parts of Asia flags printed with prayers and intentions are hung where the wind can carry them outward into the world. The idea being that what you're asking for doesn't stay contained to you once you release it. Together, we're making a version of that using gelli plates, stencils, paints, and more and stringing together our own set of prayer flags infused with your prayers for yourself, your loved ones, and the world.
You’ll take home something beautiful, deeply personal, and hang it somewhere the air moves.
Cost: $60 (included in Tier 2 and 3 Class Pass and the Summer All Access Pass)
4th Fridays Sip and Shop
Have you been to 4th Fridays in Easton? If not, this is the perfect way to enhance the experience.
4th Fridays are a fun way to spend time in Easton and experience the best of all it has to offer. You’ll find shops open late, bands playing outdoors in different parts of the city, food specials, free activities, and more.
As a part of 4th Fridays, I like to open Creative Spirit for a special Sip and Shop that let’s customers come and explore, have a snack, and catch up with Creative Spirit friends. Class Pass holders will receive a free gift with purchase when they shop on 4th Fridays!
This is a no cost event and there’s no set time to arrive or depart. Registration is optional but helpful for preparing free gifts, snacks, and sips. :-) Consider it like an RSVP.
Couples Group Energy Healing
You both come in, get comfortable, and lie down side by side. From there it works the way the regular group energy healing does, guided meditation, candlelight, individualized energy work, except the intention underneath everything is the relationship itself alongside the two people in it. The meditation is about releasing the things that accumulate in a relationship over time, fear, control, the old hurts that you've mostly forgiven but your nervous system hasn't quite gotten the message about yet. The energy work is oriented toward what's been, and what that's left in the field between you, so there's room for something different to move in.
People experience this differently. Some couples talk about it for hours afterward. Some never mention it and find that something has quietly shifted anyway. Some come in a little sideways with each other and leave holding hands without quite knowing when that happened. It doesn't require you to be in crisis to get something out of it, and it doesn't require you to be doing great either. It's for any two people who share a life and want to tend to the energetic side of that, which most people never think to do and almost everyone finds useful once they try it.
No prior experience with energy work needed. Bring a blanket if you run cold. We have oversized chairs if lying down isn't comfortable for either of you.
Cost is $60 per couple ·

Working with the Chakras
One of my favorite topics to explore with groups: The Chakras. So much can be said for these “wheels of light,” these invisible forces of energy that exist in our physical body. Chakras are present in a surprising array of cultures and while they may differ in name, they hold some similarities in how they serves us.
This workshop offers us ways to understand how our chakras can work for us, how we can learn to help ourselves through difficult physical and emotional experiences through the examination of our own, and learning ways to feel deeper compassion for others as we begin to see how certain personality traits can reveal “blocked” or “unbalanced” chakras and ways to help.

Passages: Ideas worth an hour
PASSAGES: IDEAS WORTH AN HOUR
The first Saturday of every month the coffee is on and there's something good to eat and we read together. The week before, I send you a short reading, usually six to ten pages from a book that has something real to say, along with a few questions worth sitting with ahead of time. You can read it before you come and arrive with thoughts, or you can come cold and we'll find our way into it together in the room. Either way works fine. At the end of the session you'll get a list of books and resources if the topic grabbed you and you want to go further.
The conversations that happen in this class tend to go places that surprise people. Partly because the material is genuinely worth arguing about and partly because a Saturday morning with good coffee and something worth thinking hard about is one of the better ways I know to spend an hour. No background in spirituality, philosophy, or anything else required. Skeptics always welcome, especially here.
Cost: $25 (Included in all Class Passes)
And there will always be coffee and morning snacks! :-)
JUNE: The Architecture of Belief
This month we're reading excerpts from Neville Goddard's "The Law and the Promise," a book from 1961 that makes a claim so radical about the relationship between consciousness and reality that most people either dismiss it in the first ten pages or find themselves thinking about it for the next ten years. To balance it out we're also reading two pages from William James, the Harvard philosopher and father of American psychology, who was wrestling with a related question from a completely different direction around the same time and arrived somewhere surprisingly close.
The conversation is about what belief actually does. Whether it changes things outside of us or only inside of us, and whether that distinction matters as much as we think. Reading sent the week before. Bring your skepticism if you have it. There's room for it.
JULY: The Mechanics of Manifestation
Joseph Murphy's "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" was published in 1963 and has sold over ten million copies, which tells you something, though I'm not entirely sure what. It's also the book that tends to get dismissed fastest by people who haven't read it and taken most seriously by people who have actually tried what it describes. We're reading the chapter on how the subconscious processes what you feed it, which is the part that tends to make people quietly uncomfortable in ways they find useful.
We're also reading two pages from Florence Scovel Shinn's "The Game of Life and How to Play It," written in 1925 by a woman who had absolutely no patience for hedging, and it shows in every sentence. The conversation this month is partly about whether any of this holds up and partly about the more uncomfortable question of what you'd actually have to change if you took it seriously for thirty days. Reading sent the week before.
AUGUST: What Happens Next
Michael Newton spent forty years as a hypnotherapist, started his career as a committed skeptic, and ended up documenting what thousands of clients described experiencing between lives under deep hypnosis. The cases are specific enough, and consistent enough across people who had never met each other, that his own discomfort with what he was finding comes through in the writing, which is part of why the books are worth reading. We're also looking at two pages from Raymond Moody's "Life After Life," the book that introduced the term near death experience in 1975 and started a research conversation that is still very much active.
The discussion this month is about what we actually believe happens when we die, where those beliefs came from, and what it would mean for the life you're living right now if the picture turns out to be different from what you were handed. Reading sent the week before. This session runs the same month as the Past Life Regression class, which is not an accident.
The Practical Mystic
THE PRACTICAL MYSTIC
Once a month on a Tuesday evening we examine one concept from the mystical traditions. Where it came from, what it does, and how to work with it in everyday life. You’ll learn about the topic from the perspective of the sages and the mystics throughout history and discover some ways each can help illuminate the possibilities in your life.
Cost: $25 (Included in all Class Passes) · First Tuesdays · 6:30 – 8:00pm
JUNE 3: Time
The mystical traditions have always understood time differently than the clock on your phone does. Cyclical rather than linear. Layered. Alive in a way that means certain moments carry more weight than others and certain windows are genuinely better for certain things. This month we work with that understanding practically, how to read where you are in a cycle, how to work with timing rather than against it, and what changes when you start relating to time as something you're in conversation with rather than something running out.
JULY 1: Threshold Spaces
Doorways, crossroads, the space between sleeping and waking, the moment before a decision lands. Every tradition that has ever existed has had specific practices for the in-between places because something is available there that isn't available anywhere else. This month we work with what that is and how to use it, how to recognize a threshold when you're standing in one and what to do with the particular kind of clarity that tends to show up there.
AUGUST 5: Dreamwork
You've been having dreams your whole life. This month we do something with them. We work with dream incubation, how to ask a question before you sleep and set up the conditions to receive something back, and how to build a personal symbol vocabulary from your own dream history. Bring a dream if you have one you've been sitting with.

Spirit Animals For Kids (Kindergarten-3rd)
SPIRIT ANIMALS FOR KIDS
A story, a short imagination adventure, and something to make and take home. This month we're exploring the world of birds, what they see from up high, how they move through the world, and what it might feel like to have one as your own spirit guide. Every kid leaves with a small feather wand they made themselves, something they can hold and blow on to call their bird spirit close.
For kids in Kindergarten through third grade. All supplies included.
$35 · Saturday mornings · 11:00am – 12:00pm
The Clear Sense
Most people have had the experience of knowing something before they could explain how they knew it. A phone call they saw coming. A feeling about a situation that turned out to be exactly right. A sense of something in a room that nobody else seemed to notice. And most people, when that happens, either explain it away or file it under weird coincidence and move on.
What if it's a sense? Not a gift that certain people have and others don't, but an actual perceptual capacity that can be trained the way any other sense can be trained.
That's what this day is about.
Over six hours we work through the foundations of psychic perception: what the five clairs are and how to figure out which one you primarily work through, the difference between a real signal and ego noise doing an impression of one, and how to start trusting what arrives in your own body rather than immediately second-guessing it. There's a thread of ancestral work woven through the day, the idea that some of what you sense is older than you and has been moving through your lineage for a long time.
The day is blend of exploration and practice set up to support each person’s development no matter how they walked in. You'll leave with a signal log framework you can use starting that night, a working vocabulary for how your specific channel operates, and a realistic sense of what to do with what you receive. Which is the translation piece that is truly the key to it all.
If you've been curious about this for years and kept waiting for the right context to actually try it, this is a safe and encouraging place and our goal is help you walk away feeling empowered and confident.
Cost is $250 (free for Tier 3 Class Pass Holders and Summer All Access Pass Holders)
Bring a lunch or snack, water and tea available here. Also bring a notebook and pen. Oh, and an open mind!
Illuminated Words
Illuminated Words: Intuitive Writing as Sacred Practice
A Monthly Gathering
Illuminated Words is an invitation to open your intuitive channel and allow the deeper wisdom within you to speak through the written word. For centuries, mystics, poets, and seekers have turned to writing as a bridge between the seen and unseen — a way of giving form to divine guidance, inner knowing, and soul truth. This gathering brings that ancient practice into a modern, grounded context, helping you trust your inner voice and develop a living relationship with intuition through writing.
Originally offered as a four-part immersive series, Illuminated Words is now evolving into a monthly, pay-per-session experience. This shift was made intentionally — to make the work more accessible, flexible, and welcoming for those who felt called but found the original cost or scheduling commitment difficult. While the format has opened, the heart of the work remains unchanged.
Each gathering stands on its own while also weaving into a larger, ongoing journey. You may attend one session, return month after month, or step in and out as life allows — trusting that each circle will meet you exactly where you are.
What to Expect
Each monthly session offers a complete and intentional experience, blending guided meditation, gentle ritual, and intuitive writing practice. Together, we create a quiet, grounded space where the mind softens, the nervous system settles, and intuitive awareness can rise naturally to the surface.
Over time, participants often experience a deepening sense of clarity, trust, and confidence in their own inner guidance. This is not about “channeling” in a performative way, but about learning how intuition actually speaks — through symbols, sensation, imagery, memory, and subtle knowing — and how to listen with discernment and compassion.
Through regular participation, you will begin to:
Establish a sacred writing practice that supports spiritual connection and insight
Enter a meditative state where intuitive information flows with ease
Recognize and interpret symbols, sensations, and imagery as meaningful guidance
Distinguish between intuition, imagination, and emotional memory
Receive insight for yourself — and potentially for others — in an ethical, grounded way
Integrate intuitive awareness into everyday life as a source of peace and direction
This work is cumulative by nature, but never exclusive. Each session is complete in itself while gently building upon shared themes of listening, trust, and illumination.
The Flow of the Work
While themes will naturally evolve over the months, the original arc of Illuminated Words remains intact — opening the channel, learning the language of intuition, engaging in sacred dialogue, and bringing intuitive wisdom into daily life. Rather than moving through these ideas in a fixed sequence, we now allow them to unfold organically, revisiting and deepening them as the group evolves.

While themes will naturally evolve over the months, the original arc of Illuminated Words remains intact — opening the channel, learning the language of intuition, engaging in sacred dialogue, and bringing intuitive wisdom into daily life. Group Energy Healing
A sublime and blissful guided meditation coupled with the power of energy healing as Marisa offers individualized focus on each guest.
Energy Healing Immersion (Day Retreat)
Energy Healing is not meant to be a secret kept by only the few. It isn’t a magic act that is done by mystics or witches. And it doesn’t require any special life path, calling, or spiritual belief.
At it’s core, Energy Healing is intention, awareness, and an opening to possibilities.
This Immersive Day Retreat is really a course in Energy Healing. What it is and how to perform it on yourself and others.
Over the course of this experience we will explore some lineages of Energy Healing, try out the different types of Energy Healing that are common in today’s wellness and spiritual communities, and learn to develop a style that is unique and personal to you while allowing you the power to make real change on yourself, your friends and family, and the world at large.
We will work with the concepts of hands on and hands off healing, prayer and channeling, remote healing, and even healing through time both past and present.
Also covered in this immersive experience are an exploration of ethics, permission, and our personal and moral responsibilities for when to offer this work and for what and whom.
When you leave this experience, you will be able to confidently offer Energy Healing.

Sacred Geometry Sun Catchers
SACRED GEOMETRY SUNCATCHERS
Sacred geometry shows up in seashells and Gothic cathedrals and the structure of DNA. Its often considered a sign that there’s a divine fingerprint left on everything in creation. For this workshop, we will make sun catchers using geometric forms and small crystals. I give a short teaching on what the shapes carry before we start. You’ll bring home gorgeous sun catchers that carry your own fingerprint to hand in your window or gift to a loved one.
Cost: $60 (Included in all Tier 2 and 3 Class Passes and the Summer All Access Pass)

The Rose: Working With the Energy of Mary
THE ROSE — Full Day Immersive RetreatSaturday
There is an energy that has been showing up across cultures, continents, and centuries under different names. The Guadalupe. Our Lady of Fatima. The Black Madonna. The Pietà. Mary, mother of Jesus, yes, but also something older and wider than any single religion. A feminine force associated with compassion, intercession, and the particular kind of grace that doesn't require you to earn it first.
This is not a theology class and it is not a Catholic retreat. You don't have to be religious to feel something when you look at her image or say her name. A lot of people who wouldn't describe themselves as believers find that she meets them anyway. The ones who grew up in the church and left it often find her the last thing they can still hold. The ones who never had a relationship with her at all sometimes find that surprising.
We spend the afternoon sitting with that energy deliberately. We look at who she is across traditions, what she carries in each of her forms and why those forms keep showing up regardless of geography or century. We work with the rose, her oldest and most consistent symbol, and we end by making your own rosary beads and learning to use them as a contemplative tool, a way of holding intention that belongs entirely to you outside of anyone else's rules about how it's supposed to work.
The central practice of the day is the petition letter. You write her a letter asking for a rose, not a metaphorical one, an actual one in whatever form she chooses to send it. You write what you actually want and what you are actually carrying and you ask plainly. Then you fold it and release it and you go home still watching. That part doesn't end when the day does. Some people get their rose the next morning. Some get it three weeks later in a way that stops them cold. Either way you'll know it when it comes and that's part of what makes this one of my favorite things I offer.
There are short meditations, somatic practices to take home, crafts (including gemstone beads and all components for making your personal rosary), good conversation, and a lot of room for people who feel aligned with the energy of Mary inside or outside any religion.
ALL are welcome.
All supplies included. Bring a notebook, a pen, water, and a yoga mat if you have one, but mats available if you don't.
Cost is $250 (Included in the Tier 3 and Summer Access Class Passes)

Spirit Animals (A workshop for adults)
SPIRIT ANIMALS
There are animals that keep showing up. In dreams, on walks, in the corner of your eye, in the stories people have been telling about them for thousands of years including the Lenape people who lived on this exact land. There's a reason certain animals find certain people.
Together, we look at animals that show up for us, what energy they carry, what they've meant across traditions, and what they might be asking of you specifically. We then make a small personal totem to take home as a tool for working with our spirit animals and connecting to others. All supplies included.
Come open to being surprised by which animal claims you. It's rarely the one people expect.
Offered a few times a year ·
Cost is $30 (Included in all Class Passes)

HELD: A Couples Event
HELD: An Evening for Couples with Kelly Forté & Bill Childs
When was the last time you and your partner made something together that had nothing to do with a decision, a schedule, or figuring out what to have for dinner?
Not a date night where you sit across from each other and do the same conversation you always do, but something where you actually get to use your hands and get a little bit lost in creativity and get to see what comes out on the other side.
HELD is an evening of intuitive painting and conversation for couples, guided by fine artist Kelly Forté and creative director Bill Childs. Over the course of the night, Kelly walks you through each of the seven energy centers in the body, and for each one you paint whatever comes up on your own canvas while Bill guides the dialogue between you and your partner. You don't need to know how to paint and you don't need to know anything about chakras or energy work. You just need to be willing to pick up a brush and be a little surprised by what happens.
You go home with two paintings and whatever opened up between you while you were making them.
Goes perfect with a bottle of wine and some light snacks (bring what feels good for you!).
$175 per couple. Limited to six couples per evening.

Kallari: The Sacred Shed
Kallari is a Kichwa word from the indigenous peoples of Ecuador. It means the beginning, the first opening, the moment before something new is possible. You cannot arrive at kallari without shedding what came before it.
This ceremony is built around that threshold. This is a ceremony for people who know something needs to go. Who have understood that for a while, actually, and just haven't found the right room for it yet.
Through ceremonial cacao, breathwork, and Andean ritual, you are guided through a deliberate release: the version of yourself that was shaped by other people's expectations, by old survival strategies that no longer fit, by the weight of carrying things that were never yours to carry in the first place. The shedding is the point. Not as metaphor. As something that actually happens in the body when you give it the right conditions and the right company.
The cacao Jessie uses is a plant medicine, treated as such in Amazonian and Andean traditions for thousands of years. It works directly with the heart, gently expanding what has been contracted, surfacing what has been sitting underneath. Paired with Icaros, sacred healing songs from the Amazonian tradition, and guided inner journeying, it creates an environment where the body can release what the mind has been managing around for years. Some people experience emotion rising unexpectedly. Some feel a physical shift, warmth or pressure or something loosening. Some leave simply lighter than they arrived, without being fully able to explain why.
Jessie Miño is the founder of Good Vibes Wellness. Her lineage traces back to the indigenous Amazonian and Andean people of Ecuador, and that heritage is not decorative background in her work. It is the work. The ancestral traditions, ceremonial practices, and relationship to the land that were passed through her family are what she brings into the room. She came to this work through her own hard passage: grief, generational trauma, the weight of carrying pain that her thinking mind had already decided was handled. Her ceremonies are quiet and intimate. She is not trying to impress anyone. She is trying to help people put something down.
No prior experience with breathwork or ceremony is needed.
$60 · Space is limited.

Boundary Bracelets: Protection, Power, & Personal Space
We all have moments where we give away our power.
We overextend. We overexplain. We let people cross lines we know should be protected.
Sometimes we do not even realize it is happening until afterward.
Boundary Bracelets is a creative and empowering workshop focused on helping you reclaim your energetic space in a grounded, compassionate, and practical way.
During our time together, we will talk openly about boundaries. We will explore where your personal boundary pain points live, the situations that challenge you most, and the patterns that make it difficult to hold your ground without guilt, conflict, or emotional fallout.
From there, we shift into the energetic layer of the conversation.
We will explore the nature of energy itself. How frequency, vibration, and intention shape the way we show up. How the unseen communicates just as loudly as words. And how we can work with supportive energetic tools to reinforce our boundaries without needing to defend, explain, or harden ourselves.
Each participant will create three different gemstone bracelets, each designed for a specific boundary situation in their life.
You may choose to focus on areas such as:
• Emotional boundaries
• Family dynamics
• Workplace interactions
• Romantic relationships
• Energy protection in public spaces
We will fuse each bracelet with intention and energetic activation, learning how to wear and work with them as supportive tools. Think of them as loving shields. Protective, but never aggressive. Empowered, but never hardened.
No hurt feelings required.
This is about holding yourself with clarity, compassion, and strength.
Bracelet Blessing Tray
As part of this workshop, you will also create your own Bracelet Blessing Tray.
This tray can be used at home to design additional bracelets, cleanse jewelry, set intentions, and energetically activate pieces to work in support of you.
It becomes a personal ritual space. A place where the jewelry you wear is not just decorative, but consciously aligned with your needs, your growth, and your protection.
Cost including all materials: $75
BYOB welcome. Light snacks encouraged. All materials included.
What You Will Create and Receive
• Three gemstone boundary bracelets
• Instruction on gemstone energetics and intention setting
• Guided boundary reflection exercises
• Energetic activation and blessing process
• Bracelet Blessing Tray to take home
• Tools for continuing the practice on your own
No experience necessary. Come as you are.

Chakra Mala Magic
Create - Align - Awaken
Join us at Creative Spirit for an evening of creativity, connection, and energetic alignment as we craft our own chakra-based gemstone malas. These are beautiful, functional pieces of jewelry designed to support meditation, intention setting, and personal ritual.
In this hands-on workshop, you will design and create a 108-bead gemstone mala using stones intentionally chosen to align with the seven chakras. As we bead, knot, and assemble our malas using a blend of traditional techniques and accessible modern adaptations, we will also explore the deeper energetic framework behind the practice.
Together we will talk about:
• The 7 chakra system and what each energy center represents
• How imbalances can show up emotionally, physically, and energetically
• Ways to intentionally work with each chakra in daily life
• How to use a mala for meditation, mantra, breathwork, or grounding practices
• Creating simple personal rituals using your mala at home
This workshop is designed to be both educational and experiential. Creativity becomes the doorway into intuition. Many participants notice that the stones they feel drawn to, the patterns they create, and the intentions they set become meaningful reflections of their inner world.
You will leave not only with new knowledge and practices, but with a stunning, one-of-a-kind piece of sacred jewelry that you created yourself. It is something you can wear, meditate with, or keep on your altar as a daily energetic anchor.

Journey Through the Chakras
Sometimes the body knows before the mind catches up.
This immersive meditative painting experience is an invitation to slow down, tune in, and listen. We’ll move gently through all seven chakras, spending 15 minutes with each—guided by sound, scent, color, and sensation. You’ll be surrounded by objects and elements chosen to resonate with each chakra, creating a fully immersive environment that invites the whole body in.
There’s nothing to copy. Nothing to get right.
Only marks made from feeling, not thought.
You’ll work on one large surface, allowing the painting to evolve as you move through the chakras—layer by layer, energy by energy.
Abstract or symbolic. Quiet or bold. Whatever shows up.
We’ll close in circle, holding space to share what you noticed, what moved, and what wants to be carried forward—without fixing, judging, or explaining.
Come open.
Come as you are.
Let your chakra energy reveal what’s ready to be seen.
Meditations on Death and Dying
Meditations on Death and Dying
Explorations and Discussions
Meditations on Death and Dying is a monthly series of explorations and discussions devoted to honest, thoughtful engagement with death, dying, and grief as essential parts of the human experience. Meeting on the last Saturday of each month, this series offers a welcoming, reflective space to approach mortality not as something morbid or distant, but as something we live alongside every day.
Each gathering features a guest with a unique relationship to death through lived experience, professional work, spiritual inquiry, or philosophical reflection. Together, we explore the physical, emotional, spiritual, metaphysical, and philosophical dimensions of death, as well as the quieter ways loss shapes our lives, relationships, and communities.
Rather than offering doctrine or conclusions, Meditations on Death and Dying invites shared inquiry. These explorations ask questions such as: How do we live with both the dead and the dying? How do we make space for grief in a culture that often rushes past it? What becomes possible when we stop turning away from mortality and allow it to inform how we live?
Inaugural Gathering
The first gathering in this series opens with the theme of living with both the dead and the dying, guided by a guest whose life and work place him in daily relationship with mortality. Our inaugural guest is a funeral director, Marine, and war veteran, offering a deeply grounded perspective shaped by both service and loss.
Through his work as a funeral director, he is regularly confronted with the fundamental reality of human existence: that we move from spirited, living beings into organic matter that eventually returns to the earth. Alongside this physical truth, he also bears witness to the emotional realities of death, particularly the experiences of those left behind and the ways our culture makes space, or fails to make space, for grief.
This first exploration moves between the natural, practical, philosophical, and even supernatural, honoring both the tangible realities of the body and the invisible forces of grief, memory, and meaning. While the conversation may be intimate, honest, and at times raw, it is guided by compassion and care. The intention is not to sensationalize death, but to create a more loving and accessible way of relating to death as a fact of life and to grief as an ever-present, often unseen force many of us are carrying.
This gathering is free and open to all.
Space is limited, and RSVP is requested to ensure adequate seating.
Whether you are actively grieving, quietly curious, philosophically inclined, or simply seeking a deeper relationship with life, you are warmly welcome.

Materials & Ongoing Support
Participants will receive writing materials and ritual tools over time, with opportunities to deepen their personal practice through optional reflection prompts and continued guidance. While this is no longer a closed cohort with required attendance, the spirit of connection, support, and continuity remains central to the experience.
Format & Logistics
Illuminated Words meets monthly, beginning January 10, and continues as an ongoing offering.
Each session is pay-per-attendance, allowing flexibility and ease of access.
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Location: Creative Spirit · 131 N 3rd Street · Easton, PA
Advance registration is recommended, as space remains intentionally limited to preserve the intimacy and depth of the experience.
Closing Thought
When we learn to listen with the soul and let words rise from that quiet inner place, writing becomes more than a practice. It becomes a relationship — a way of remembering that wisdom is already within us, waiting patiently to be heard.
If you have any questions about whether this experience is right for you, please feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to talk it through.

During our time, we will talk, create or move, and discover about ourselves and the universe around us.
The 3rd Thursday of each month, join me, Marisa, as we grow our community and ourselves.
Cost for this event is $25 per session. You can also buy four sessions for the cost of three by Clicking HERE.
The Last Unveiling (Cacao Ceremony)
As we approach the longest night of the year, we enter a season of deep clarity. In both Amazonian and Andean traditions, the days before solstice are a time of soft unraveling — a final shedding before the return of light.
The Last Unveiling is a 60-minute cacao ceremony designed to support this descent. Through ceremonial cacao, rhythmic breathwork, and an ancestral guided journey, we’ll explore what is ready to be released before the new cycle begins.
Together, we’ll soften into the body, listen to the wisdom that rises in stillness, and meet the deeper truth that wants to be revealed. Jaguar medicine will accompany us — helping us see with instinct, courage, and honesty — while the Icaros create a soundscape that opens the inner world.
This ceremony is gentle, heart-centered, and accessible to all. No experience with cacao or breathwork is needed — only a willingness to arrive as you are.
Come with an open heart, leave with clarity. Come with questions, leave with truth.
What Will Be Provided:
Ceremonial grade cacao (warm beverage)
Some pillows will be available
A yoga mat
A blanket (Please also bring something to keep warm hoodie, sweater, etc.)
Some eye masks
What to Bring:
An open heart
Water
A journal and pen
What to Wear:
Come as comfy as you’d like — think cozy, breathable layers you can relax and journey in
Gentle Reminders:
Ceremonial cacao is gentle, but it is still a heart-opening plant medicine that our ancestors treated with deep respect.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on SSRIs or other antidepressants, have high blood pressure, a heart condition, or are highly sensitive to stimulants, please consume a smaller amount of cacao or choose to sit with the ceremony without drinking.
Cacao increases blood flow and gently stimulates the cardiovascular system, so listening to your body is essential. If you’re unsure, you’re always welcome to ask me before we begin.
Preparation + Aftercare:
1. “How to Prepare for Ceremony”
A simple list to help you arrive grounded, open, and attuned.
2.“Navigating Sadness or Emotional Waves After Ceremony”
A gentle resource, especially because cacao and breathwork can stir memories, tenderness, or release.
Everything that rises does so for a reason — and you won’t be alone in that process.
If you have any questions or would like to chat prior to deciding on attending, send a DM on Instagram or you can email: info@goodvibes-wellness.com.

Awakening the Inner Sun: A Cacao Journey of Vision and Renewal
Awakening the Inner Sun: A Cacao Journey of Vision and Renewal
As the year turns inward, this cacao experience invites you to reconnect with the radiant force that lives within — your inner sun.
Guided through breath, sound, and intuitive journeying, you’ll gather the wisdom of the darker seasons and transmute it into light. Together, we awaken clarity, purpose, and creative vitality — not by reaching outward, but by remembering the fire that already burns inside.
This is a return to your own rhythm. A ceremony of warmth, vision, and renewal — guided by the gentle spirit of cacao.
Here are a few gentle reminders before joining the upcoming ceremony.
Echoes of the Soul: A Guided Past Life Regression
✨ Echoes of the Soul: A Guided Past Life Regression Experience
Date: Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 PM
Duration: 2 hours
Facilitator: Marisa McFadden
Location: Creative Spirit Easton, 131 N 3rd Street, Easton, PA
Investment: $60 per person
🕊️ Event Overview
There are moments in life when we feel something we can’t quite explain- a strong connection to a person, a place, or a fear that seems to come from nowhere. Echoes of the Soul offers a safe, therapeutic space to explore these subtle resonances through the process of Past Life Regression- not as a test of belief, but as an opportunity for insight and healing.
You don’t need to believe in reincarnation to benefit from this experience. When we enter a deeply relaxed, meditative state and suspend disbelief, the subconscious often reveals stories, images, and sensations that hold symbolic meaning for the present moment. What surfaces might be memory, metaphor, or imagination, but all of it belongs to the language of the soul.
This guided two-hour experience is designed to help you:
✨ Recognize the roots of recurring fears or emotional patterns
✨ Identify strengths, gifts, or qualities that have always lived within you
✨ Understand relationship or life themes that feel mysteriously familiar
✨ Experience a sense of peace, release, and deeper self-understanding
🌿 What to Expect
Opening & Orientation (20 minutes)
We begin with gentle breathwork, an overview of the process, and an invitation to relax expectations. This time sets the tone for safety, curiosity, and inner exploration.
Guided Regression (45–50 minutes)
You’ll be led through a calming visualization that opens a pathway to the subconscious. In this state, images, sensations, or “memories” may arise; fragments that carry meaning for the here and now.
Integration Circle (30 minutes)
After the regression, we return slowly and spend time journaling, sharing (if you wish), and reflecting over warm, grounding tea. This allows your conscious mind to integrate what was experienced, gently anchoring insight into awareness.
Closing & Grounding (15–20 minutes)
We’ll end with a collective grounding meditation and closing intention, leaving you centered, peaceful, and clear.
🍵 Included Take-Home Reflection Kit
Each participant will receive a small Echoes of the Soul Reflection Kit to support integration throughout the week:
Guided Reflection Journal – prompts and grounding practices to revisit what arose during your session.
Grounding Tea Sachet – a soothing herbal blend (rooibos, chamomile, cinnamon, and lemon balm) to enjoy as you reflect.
Grounding Stone – a small crystal (smoky quartz, hematite, or black tourmaline) to carry as a reminder to return to the present moment whenever you need balance.
💫 Additional Details
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal if you wish to add personal notes.
Space is limited to 10 participants to ensure an intimate and restorative experience.
Arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in; doors close promptly at 7 PM.

Our founder, Marisa McFadden, was so inspired by their work that she joined Shanthi as an instructor — and is now using her business as a way to give back. Season of Light is our way of saying thank you: proof that when local businesses and nonprofits come together, our whole community shines brighter.
